The INSERTS IN GRAPHITE are distributed over 20-30% of the running surface, creating an anti-friction thin film that will remain during the rest and is under heavy loads. 
On request could may be applied a film of 20 um of composition similar to that of the insert to facilitate the early movements and avoid a damaging blow to departure (stick-slip).
